Don’t you think that Kavanaugh’s best choice would have been to come out with the truth, recognize what he did in the past, how he wronged Dr. Ford and maybe other girls, recognize how much he used to drink to the point of doing many foolish things, and then he decided to change and now he wants to let the world know that he struggled to reform himself, to stop drinking, and whatever his story is until he became a Judge, a husband, a father, and be nominated for SCOTUS Justice…???
We, Americans, learned to forgive many of our human leaders when they candidly have come out with THE TRUTH and asked to be forgiven… Ted Kennedy, for example… Bill Clinton, until he finally came out with THE TRUTH about Monica L… Reagan and the Iran Contra, etc…
Republicans and Democrats – in unison — we’d probably recognize that B.K. was someone different then, than the honorable man he intends to portray to be nowadays… But lying under oath as he did on Thursday’s hearing, with that uncontrollable anger, and accusing democrats of all sort of farfetched conspiracy theories to avenge the Clinton’s, that only confirmed that he’s still the same lost, confused, and even evil boy he was 36 years ago…
Even worse, he himself let us know that he’s not fit to be Justice because his emotions betray him, and his choice of making of this Thursday hearing a self-pity, self-serving charade, totally disregarding Dr. Ford’s suffering and trauma inflicted by him, could be very dangerous for the country and we – adamantly — can’t allow anyone with this attitude and behavior fulfill the job he’s fighting for…
